oooh well what do you listen to rn? I dont wanna suggest smth ur alr listening to lol but I figure id mention what im listening to rn, hopefully its smth new for u? I rlly like jhariah, his music is rlly energetic, it's hard to describe but i guess i'd say techno rock? idk if thats right but they themselves describe is as "no genre all drama" so TwT but i rlly like their stuff, they have some really fun rythms and rlly interesting lyrics. For a completely different vibe i rlly like the crane wives, theyre indie folk but their new album has some more sort of rock influence? idk im rlly bad at describing music, but they're rlly good, I highly reccomend!
ohhh i listen to crane wives too!! rn i'm above all listen to radiohead, my chemical romance, panchiko, a bit of billie eilish , olivia rodrigo, chapell roan, girl in red and ABBA or the smiths, i love the songs of alien stage and zombie stage i can listen to almost everything.. I'm gonna try jhariah thxx for the suggestion!!
yayyyyy fellow crane wives fan! and i hope u enjoy jhariah! i can also rec some vocaloid, I rlly like ego renegade boy,by flavour foley, villain, by teniwoha, and in the bathroom, by reisai!
This is a kinda vocally focused list (I took a shot in the dark at what you might like from the artists you listen to) but here are some that I’ve enjoyed recently: - Unethical by Faouzia - Hypnotize by XG - You Were Beautiful by DAY6 - What Now by Brittany Howard - LOST & FOUND by Purple Kiss (rip) - Это всё (That’s All) by DDT
Are there any specific songs you recommend tho? I also have been trying to widen my music library
oh gosh, uhm..! I think tamino is really soothing to listen to? like, indigo night or Persephone! also habibi and sunflower by him are both really good! also epic the musical if you like musicals? or Disney songs? not from the newer movies! like I see the light from tangled or make a man out of you from Mulan!!
I highly recommend dazy and the scouts, mommy long legs, and destroy boys. These are all punk rock bands if ur into them. A lot of my favorite songs come from these bands
I recommend songs: tiesto and aqualung ur, Meg Myers a lot of songs I like so I recommend listening to all songs, we are almost home by Kongos, king gnu prayer X, red survive the said prophet, hit em by meovv, Anya nami sugar glass ,lamb fort, archive city walls,Ella red spider string, sage francis sea lion. I like alot of singers just don't remember all of it. 😅
I'd say I could listen to a lot of things tho recently I have been playing Kaede's album "Stardust in Blue" a lot. It's very classic pop kinda but it's really good!! :D
Additionally I've also really started listening to ATARASHII GAKKO!! recently. They've made a ton of songs so I haven't heard that many, but I really like the band's style. It's all over every genre atp hehe.
I also like the band Good Kid. They released their first album "Can We Hang Out Sometime" a bit ago but they have like 5 EPs before that too!! o(*￣▽￣*)o
I can’t reply to ur other comment for some reason - but yes I’ve heard Yaelokres new songs! I like Insatiable - but tbh Meadowlark has a chokehold on me
I love insatiable too hehe. The new twist on the Meadowlark songs is also quite interesting. It sounds less like the Lark singing their stories and more like Keath singing their own songs. I feel like there's a charm to both of them heh.
Also when it comes to replying to comments I think it's by replying to the original post?? Idk but that's how I've been doing it so far
Okey these will all be random but!! "Back again" by ray Ferrari (on Spotify and genuinely love that song!!!), I also wanna say check out Naomi Jon. She also dies yt but also music and her songs are great! Like her newest album strawberry is peak!!!! Then this song I just found a few days ago and genuinely love!! Its "Chat" by girlset. And "Brain rot" by Tokyo manaka!! Ik they're probably not like a genere of music buutt! They could lead to maybe more new undiscovered land! So definitely listen to them <333
I listen to all sorts of stuff, but hyperpop is always so fun, you should get into that if you like that sorta thing!! but here are some songs i really like (of random/different genres/vibes) that i continuously go back to
currently it's "After" by MUNA. they're a smaller queer pop band, i like them decently! their discography doesn't sound much like the song i listed though. - LION by i-dle (kpop group) - BLOSSOM by ENHYPEN (also kpop group) - Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol - Take Me Back to Eden by Sleep Token - I know the End by Phoebe Bridgers - Chinese Satellite by Phoebe Bridgers - Throw Me in the Water by Jessie Mazin - Wildflower by Beach House - artist recc!! Faouzia. She's super good and is a fantastic vocalist
omg chasing cars that takes me backkk! genuinely one of my oldest memories of music is being taught that song on guitar (which i dropped and now cant play ToT) but still imma go listen to it!
im currently rather into the oh hellos, which is kind of similar to the crane wives in the like folk style sense! a random one, but i would also recommend japanese shoegaze or rock, ive just started listening to some songs in the genre like Thanatos by Kinokoteikoku!
Hai! I saw in the comments you like panchiko and my chemical romance! I'd suggest you try Zimmer Grandioso and Westkust (which both kinda give off the same vibe as what you already listen to I think, mb a bit more whimsy for certain songs) ^^
Here are some artists I would recommend: Gorillaz- it's a virtual band created as a side project by Damon Albarn ( singer of Blur), their style is alt pop I think, but it changes with each album. It's also my favorite band rn. Jack Stauber- Maybe you heard of him as he gained popularity lately. I don't know how to label his style, maybe a bit weirdcore? it also depends on the song. His music is very special and I never heard anything similar. He also hides the meanings in the lyrics so you kinda have to decipher it but its mostly sad stuff. Also check out his music videos they are super cool and maybe will help you understand his style more. Bob Marley & The Wailers - it's reggage, spreads peace and self love. Very chill music. Femtanyl - uhh idk what this style is called but it's loud and electronic, since you like needy girl overdose I think you might like this one. London After Midnight - I think its goth but I'm not sure (dont come for me please).
You should listen to Aurora, despite also being mainstream in some parts she's kinda underrated at the same time, i love her album A Diffrent Kind of Human (step 2), not from the same artist but i also reccomend listening to Caribbean blue by Enya ^^
there's this really cool band called Hombres G who sometimes make some lyrics that are a bit more comical. but if you're looking for something a bit more downbeat, that yearning type of 90s indie, there's Jeff Buckley!
There's this band I've been listening to recently called Boys Go To Jupiter! My favorite album of theirs (out of the. Two they have so far lol) is Meet Me After Practice :D If there's any individual songs you listen to from them as a whole I'd personally recommend Virginia and Sunshine (never trust anyone named jeanette) <--- yes that is the whole actual name of the second song LOL
hehehe, ur pfp gives me kingslayer vibes ദ്ദി ˉ͈̀꒳ˉ͈́ )✧ its pretty loud tho, so be careful !!!! its made by bring me the horizon and features babymetal !!!!!
