ACCIDENTALLY GOT MY DAD HOOKED ON A ROMANCE C-DRAMA (^v^)

In other news I just painted my nails to have the staff of Asclepius on each of them \( ◜‿◝ )/♡

I just got another kudos on my fic on AO3 but I have NOOOOOOOOO motivation to write the next chapter ｡:ﾟ(;´∩`;)ﾟ:｡

I just used this code to add the sticker at the bottom (in a style section of course).

I love having a little sticker at the bottom of my page (I got the code off the windows skin lol), but I was wondering if I could add several? Right now I can only add one, centered left, but maybe I could add another one centered right on the other side? What do you think? Any tips?

CALCULUS ('T ~ T')

so um why did nobody tell me you could add links to your stamps? Just figured out how and this is great! ♡

I was coming out of a club meeting and I heard this loud music coming from a classroom down the hall. I went in and saw a whole band (two guitarists, a drummer, a singer, and a trumpet player) rehearsing. Just them! They let me watch them practice and I even recorded a few of the songs they were practicing on my phone. This one is called "Bad Spell" by Larkin Poe, but they also prepared "Creep" by Radiohead, "Low Rider" by War and some more songs I didn't recognize. Puppies!!

Photo of the eclipse my aunt took and sent me! I think it's ethereal and awe-inspiring.

Seriously I was terrified... This is what zombie movies would be if they locked in. Seriously this is like the most unlikely source for what is basically the scariest pieces of media I've seen in a long time. And I love Hannibal and all sorts of weird horror! Maybe it's cause I'm into medicine and diseases creep me out cause I'm studying them all the time?

Ok so for a second I just want to talk about MY DIVA: Eartha Kitt!!
Literally no one did it like HER. Have an unlikely yet meteoric rise to fame in the 50s, sing hits in a plethora of languages, be "the most interesting woman in the world" in all manners, become THE Catwoman (as a breakthrough role for black people in Hollywood and the only version I think about when I think of the character because she truly embodied that role like no one else), make hits that are still hits today ("Santa Baby" ugghhh), be an activist and get blacklisted from the U.S. for opposing the Vietnam War, have a revitalization as a camp disco icon in Europe, keep touring and releasing cult classic hits well into her older age, and do all that with THAT. MUCH. ELEGANCE. She was and is an ICON and will always have a fantastic place in my heart.
For her discography, she shifts very much over her long career.
I love so much of it, but to give you a place to start, I'd say: listen to "Santa Baby" and "I Want To Be Evil" for her all time 50's hits, "Uska Dara" and "Angelitos Negros" or "Paint Me Black Angels (Angelitos Negros)" for her range, "My Discarded Men" and "C'mon A My House" for her captivating live presence, and "I Don't Care" and "Where Is My Man" for her absolutely fab disco period. Also she is the voice and partial inspiration for Yzma from The Emperor's New Groove, so just listen to her songs on that movie.

Today's song rec is "Асуудал" by Aruinna!
This song is pure y2k dreamlike pop glory, and is super catchy and fun! The great rap part in the middle, the phone call effects, the chant at the end, the infectious beat, the MUSIC VIDEO... it's everything. Ariunna in general is great, but I was obsessed with this song the second I heard it.

Minuscule: Valley of the Lost Ants
It's a movie I watched a long time ago and it holds a really sweet place in my heart. It's got a really interesting animation and story style, and it really profits from having no dialogue. I've never seen anything quite like it before or since. Seriously, go check it out!

WATCH NICCOLO BY GOBELINS PARIS RIGHT NOW!!!
I watched it when it premiered last October and I fell in love with it the second I saw it!! It is practically a masterpiece; genuinely fantastic start to finish. So elegant, so lovingly made, such a treat to watch again and again.

One photographer I like is Matthew Schiavello (@matthewschiavello on tumblr ;>)
He does a lot of experimentation with photography technique and has kind of a more avant-garde style that I really like.
His work has inspired me to see more beauty in my own photography, and to have a better eye for beautiful things in the world at large!

My flash makes this cool effect on my photos that I quite like!!

I'm rewatching Evangelion with my little brother and I'm having a great time!! I'm reading the manga too and while it's a little different it has a lot of insight into the story that I quite like. The art is gorgeous (TuT)
