A little busy lately but I finally bought a mini fan because this heatwave is killing me

I tried using lash glue and it burns... I'm either applying it wrong or just sensitive to lash glue. I'm just gonna stick with no glue lashes for now (⁠・⁠_⁠・⁠;⁠)

I did some journalling today to reflect on the changes I wanted to see in my life 2 years ago. There's been some gains and losses but I think I'm doing better than I ever was in my whole life. I hope to make even better choices moving forward and give myself grace.

I'm so employed and I feel bad for complaining considering how hard it was for me to get this job. Just doing all of this to survive. I'm really not meant for climbing the corporate ladder or any kind of ladder really because meritocracy isn't real. Fuck corporate.

I reaaaaally wanna wind down and spend some time on kwenk and continue working on my profile but I'm so busy omg I just really want to rest and calm down

I wish I have enough energy to do multiple things all at once. Like, ideally, I want to split myself and do everything at the same time and maximize the amount of fun and joy I can have for myself without having to feel so tired physically and mentally. Being impulsive is usually not a good trait but it's literally what drives me to do anything. I hope to do things with more focused intent instead of relying on aimless bursts of passion.

I never understood why some people only seek friends or partners who have shared interests. Sure, it's an added bonus but for it to be a requirement for someone to have a fulfilling connection is such an odd concept to me.

Like, of course. It's great if you do get to share interests but it should not hold much bearing to the strength of your connection.

What you actually do need to share are your values and beliefs above all else. I can only form strong bonds with those who truly share the same values as I do and struggle, to my own detriment, with those who do not.

Personally, I love people who have their own unique interests because it is so charming to me and it motivates me with a lot of curiosity to learn about them. Maybe I just like novel things.
