Guess who just got diagnosed with dyshidrotic eczema?? ME. In all seriousness, I hate it. Stress is a major trigger apparently. I've never had eczema or any skin problem (other than acne) in my life. I didn't think this would actually happen to me lol this sucks. So, a reminder to everyone to always take care of yourself and regulate your stress levels.

Does anyone here know anything about pocket knives or carry them? I've been thinking about carrying a pocket knife for self defense instead of a box cutter which is useful but I don't feel safe enough with it. I'm looking for one that's reliable and beginner friendly.

What kind of jeans or pants do you guys like to wear? I just thrifted a new pair of skinny jeans and I can't wait to style them. I want denim capris too but I have yet to find a pair that fits me

Don't jump me but I think Zach Cregger's Resident Evil wasn't a good RE movie. Was it a good horror movie? Depends on who you ask because you can obviously tell it's directed by Zach Cregger and I wasn't a fan of Weapons either. It's the same dissatisfaction I had with Weapons where I really liked the first half of the movie but was let down in the second half

How did you get into tarot or astrology? I honestly got myself diving deep into it on a whim (shout out to my aries mars) and ended up loving it. I've always had surface-level interest in pop astrology, tarot and witchcraft (I don't think I'm fit to be a witch ^^;) but it's a lot more enjoyable when you have a better understanding of it. What I love about it is that there's so much to learn and I want to keep learning forever.

I did some journalling today to reflect on the changes I wanted to see in my life 2 years ago. There's been some gains and losses but I think I'm doing better than I ever was in my whole life. I hope to make even better choices moving forward and give myself grace.

Anyone ever heard of the Karpman Drama Triangle? To put it very briefly, it's a model of interaction among three people or parties that forms a triangle, regardless of whether it's intentional or not. In this triangle, there are three roles: the Victim, the Rescuer and the Persecutor.

Victim: plays helpless and blameless, inviting others to fix their issues while refusing to take responsibility, uses the Persecutor's behavior to justify helplessness ("Poor me")

Rescuer: intervenes constantly and enables the Victim, has a desire to feel needed. This can lead to codependency while they ignore their own needs ("Let me help you")

Persecutor: criticizes, blames and controls others especially towards the Victim, may weaponize their anger or pain to have power over others ("It's all your fault")

This forms a very manipulative, unhealthy dynamic and creates emotional confusion that eventually destroys relationships if left unresolved even if it's subtle. What is also REALLY interesting is how roles can continuosly shift. For example, the Victim may suddenly switch roles with the Prosecutor and vice versa, often unconsciously. These roles can continue to shift as resentment grows.

I think it's very interesting to see how common this happens in our daily lives at varying levels of intensity.

I'm sure there are sources that can explain this even better so I recommend reading about it yourself for a deeper understanding.

Being impulsive is usually not a good trait but it's literally what drives me to do anything. I hope to do things with more focused intent instead of relying on aimless bursts of passion.

Gonna talk about The End of Oak Street so spoiler warnings. Okay, first off, Brian needs to put down that damn BOW. The scene where he was taking 3 business days to aim for a shot while Audrey just immediately ran up and brutally stabbed the dinosaur? LMAO what are we doing heeeeere?? It was surprisingly quite violent for a PG13 movie. My jaw was on the floor when the dad (Ewan McGregor's character) got his leg chomped and then got eaten up right in front of his family. The whole theater was SILENT. It was visceral. Again, it's rated PG13 MIND YOU. Then, at the end, Denise called up Greg to save him AND the rest of their neighbors EXCEPT for the past versions of herself, Brian and Audrey??? Like, she deliberately chose to let them get warped into the past but saved everyone else which is MESSED UP and somehow the dad/Greg was just fine with all of that LMAO. She basically let them warp to die just because she wanted to swap out her dead husband with her living husband lol. Idk how to feel about this movie exactly. I'm not a film buff. Still, it was fun to watch.

It was my friend's birthday a few days ago and I got them a CANMAKE eyeshadow palette that they wanted. I'm so glad they're happy with the gift! I try my best to keep track of the things my friends love. What kind of gifts would you love to get? For me, I would LOVE to get tickets for artists I love or their CD albums. Also, do you give yourselves birthday gifts? because I do and I'm already thinking about what to get for my birthday next year lol some people think it's weird (?) but idgaf because I think everyone SHOULD get themselves gifts too
