vic

first poem on here unlocked !

how much of myself do i have to know for the mirror to reflect me?
-

i learned i wasn't a romantic
got too whitewashed in the 2nd culture

i feel a lot
tumbling through words
i speak a lot

lone, sat with time
once cruel hours paved to your dismissal
of patience miraculously made for you
full of thoughts and romantic desire
were you my muse?

i believe i am a liar
pants charred from fire
selfishness comes as my greatest desire

now i would've waited endlessly
you had given meaning to all
to be a reflection
a construct of your hire
but we no longer need this
i am consciously freelanced

where do i go without the subconscious dread
i want my lungs -to- cramp in your smell
but i breathe just fine

who takes your place
in carved out vast space

hey , my name is vic !
