Ok seriously need to say this. Does anyone else feel like piracy is just not as big of a deal as people make it out to be? Like cmon now im not stealing from a small retail store im taking from a MULTI MILLION DOLLAR COMPANY!!! LIKE DUDE? I hate people that are such a stink about piracy. Like are you seriously gonna sit here and tell me I cant take a 70 dollar game from the richest gaming company ever??? Ok excuse me mr "good guy" its not like im taking candy from a baby! Like I get supporting small indie games of course yes, but if I pirate something like Bonelab, a game that made ONE MILLION DOLLARS IN THE FIRST HOUR OF RELEASE, THEN IM TAKING THAT FREE OF CHARGE!!!! I could not care LESS about piracy and people should not be such a stink about it. Thats just my two cents. Sorry for the rant but UGH MAD RN

Im like falling asleep rn and i can't understand shit so are you for piracy or against it 😭sorry if it's a stupid question
BONELAB MENTIONED??? <- most normal SLZ fan
Not to mention that since physical media is so much less accessible, we're not even actually buying the game/song/movie. We're just paying for a license that they can remove at anytime. And imho, if buying isn't owning then piracy isn't stealing.
ive been thinking hard about this, It genuinely makes me sad people in the future wont be able to experience physical media if we keep going down this path.
"I pirate because umm because big evil companies and capitalism bad!!!"

I pirate because I like free stuff and I'm poor. if the paid version provides a better experience, such as easier modding support or online features etc, I'll buy it.
Oh 100% agree Im broke and I just want free games
I think people should still be able to pirate indie games if they simply can't afford it. just like what the creator of Ultrakill said, "you should support indies if you can but culture shouldn't exist only for those who can afford it" some indie devs or consumers might disagree but most people don't understand that a 5 dollar video game could still cost a lot when exchanged to other currencies. piracy is not uncommon in many parts of the world.
True and it isn't like they're losing anything if I pirate a game from a big company
they're not losing anything when you pirate an indie either they're not losing on profit because if you pirated a game, chances are, you wouldn't have paid for it even if you couldn't find a way to pirate it. it's not like stealing something from a store at all
FINALLY SOMEONE SAID IT (≧▽≦) !!!! I'm a huge pirate and have been since forever !!! I'm proud to say my dad is a pirate and was the one who showed me pirating is even an option. I'm not in a part of my life where I can buy whatever I want, so I have to pirate to have access to many games sadly (。•́︿•̀。) but even if not out of necessity anyone should have the option to pirate methinks. . .
PREACH. Streaming services are so doodoo. I hope to get into more physical media in the future.
Piracy is ok in every context, Doesn´t matter if it´s an indie game, an AAA game, a movie, a book, it´s okay because you are not stealing anything. If I don´t find a way to pirate something, I´m simply not going to consume it
Real honestly
Especially for stuff like games or movies that I can't afford
like who cares, I just wanna play acnh without losing $60 or wanting to watch a show without it suddenly being taken off from whatever service I'm paying like $16+ a month for
I use lua tools on steam but be careful when finding it because there are most deff scam sites pretending to be lua tools, i recommend finding it on github
EXACTLY
Piracy isn;t stealing, like, it does cost money but if it has a big fanbase i doubt the creator/s are gonna loose money. You also don;t have to be extremely-deamly rich if you were to enjoy little things from media.
and Besides
Not everyone lives in the same country and have the same currency.
As someone who lives in SEA and consumes a lot of western media i seriously feel guilty of asking my parents to help me buy anythign western media related cuz those dang things are expensive. ( • ᴖ • 。)
Piracy is modern solution to stupidly overpriced games
oh i totally agree, i'm constantly sailing the 7 seas
They have been trying to make piracy look bad for years; I remember the whole 'You wouldn't steal a car?' ads that used to play. Companies love money, and that's it; they don't care about the consumer.
I COMPLETELY AGREE. I've mostly pirated games, because unfortunately prices are mainly set in dollars or euros, and that makes them a bit more expensive for me in my country, so I usually look for ways to pirate them. Even the applications I use to edit my projects (which are Adobe’s) are pirated, because they’re way too expensive for me, a poor student on a student grant.

damn, that sounds way more convenient than torrenting. I'd ask for what you're using but sharing names around isn't a good idea lol
