Uwaa... I've been reading D.N. Angel for the past seven hours non-stop! I went from chapter 39 to chapter 94...I read it online, so the whole reading is slower, and I also read very slow...

I went to the 100 Girlfriends panel at Anime NYC which had the Japanese VAs of the main cast. It was sooo cool to see them perform live, i never thought I’d see Japanese VAs irl.
I also felt rlly self conscious cuz I dragged my friend w me and they rlly didn’t like it 😭 I forget that ppl that aren’t familiar with anime think the fan service/over the topness is off putting wijdjfijg. That got me thinking abt how Dan da Dan got flamed for having rapey connotations.
Idk why anime is so weird.. I mean so is Japan. It’s a multifaceted convo, but I personally feel like some people should give more leeway to anime for being too fan servicey/weird/whatever. Obviously too much of it is bad, but I feel like Dan da Dan is so much more than that.
At the end of the day, everyone has different levels of sensitivity/tastes, but it’s so jarring to me how people seem offended/put off by things I don’t find a big deal.

It’s so peak 😭 if ur unfamiliar, it’s an anime abt con artists running elaborate cons and it’s just SO PEAKKK
and they have cons in different places so u get a variety of settings,,

Hiii guys baby cosplayer here (last time I cosplayed was in like 2022 and it was venti from genshin and 2025 where I dressed up as the Greek god hermes) I am rlly wanted to cosplay Edward Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood.. I was wondering what's the cheapest/easiest way to gather cosplay pieces? I could sew stuff too at my local library with a machine or I could hand sew... But I've never done costuming before.. I wouldn't need a wig with how I'm planning to do my hair. The only thing I would really need to acquire is the costume.. any tips????(；^ω^）I just asked the cosplayers of Quenq group, but I was hoping people here would have some stuff to tell me

How do you feel about fan-service in anime?
I don't really watch anime with fan-service. If it's really small then I'm like "okay I guess" and watch it. If it's a lot then I just kida drop the anime. I consider myself pretty lucky though because most of the anime I've watched/manga I've read don't really have a lot of it.
What are your thoughts??

What I really love about Endou-sensei is how real and grounded his characters are!! :D
In the most recent chapters, the anticipation and suspense felt when Anya made her way to have a "boss battle" with Donovan begins to wear off once she gets home from school. We get a scene of her in her room trying to fall asleep but the other voices she heard are still lingering in her mind. It's very reminiscent of the bus terrorist attack, and it's yet again a prefect depiction of Endou-sen's awesome and spectacular writing!! The kids in his manga are still kids, so of course Anya wasn't just going to shrug off the voice she heard.
The end of the chapter is so cute like LOOK AT ANYA AND YOR!!! (┬┬▽┬┬)

I bought the first two volumes of the Billy Bat manga, and all I can say is that I love them. I can't wait to buy the rest, but they're expensive (ᗒᗣᗕ)՞. I want to know what people who've already read it think.

I like a lot of different animes, but I'm having a hard time finding an anime that doesn't have a huge main romance plot. My best one is The Disastrous Life of Saiki K, but I've yet to find another.
I find most romances predictable, unoriginal, clumsily pushed into the narrative, or it adds nothing valuable to the story that is being told.
Would anyone have recs? Minor romance is okay! Or just romance that is unique to what you watched. Any genre will do!

Watching Frieren S2 rn and ugh it’s so peak. In a world that keeps getting faster, it’s nice to see an anime about slowing down and cherishing the little things. The episodes are all so deep and soul-healing.. it’s just.. so peak..

As the title suggests, it is about a cat girl who has a smoking addiction. Imo it is so funny and relatable. This is PEAK girl failure.
I will premise that it is raunchy (reminds me of Chainsaw man) - it can be pretty gross sometimes so it's def not for everyone
But like no joke at the end of ep 1 I cried bc the ending scene is so wholesome ToT

Hello! Im very new here, so I guess I'll yap a bit.
Currently I've gotten into an anime called Mononoke. Its a very good anime filled with mystery, monsters and surreal stuff. I finished the main show, all I have to do is finish the movies (^^;
I also got into Kaiba, which I'm not sure if anyone has heard of it. Its cute, but also sad.
I want to watch Serial Experiments Lain, but I'm not sure about it. Any thoughts?
