For me, it has always been the album Nachtflug by Falco; this is after his early fame from songs like 'Rock Me Amadeus' and 'Der Kommissar.' The album lacks a lot of what made Falco's early albums good, but so many songs on Nachtflug are earworms that it's hard to hate them.
Does anyone else have an album like this? It's not the artist's best work, and it will never be. But it's a favorite of yours?

- Miss: This song gave me chills the first time I was listening to it. The transition of the that soft melody to sharp and electrifying guitar is what i live for. Has been on repeat for many days now.
- 7563: Just liten to it. it makes me feel like the atoms in my body wanna transend.
- Hanging out to dry: one if not the first song of hers i listened to. PEAK

On a serious note, one of her best albums, shown here, has some of her best songs like "Lança perfume, Caso serio, Nem luxo nem lixo, etc." My other favorite songs outside this album such as "Saúde, Desculpe o auê, and Reza" give a really good insight in the Queen of Brazilian Rock :D
Absoluely recommend!

McGuinness Flint's self-titled is one of those albums that surprised me; the cover of the record sounds nothing like the music; it's very of its time, a late 1960s folkish rock sound. They had one hit in the early 70s, but their self-titled album is the only album to ever chart.
"Heritage" and "Brother Pysche" on this album are the standout songs to me, calm to listen to. The song “When I'm Dead And Gone” was the only song by this band to ever chart; it doesn't stand out to me in this album. It just sounds too much like so many other songs of the early 1970s.

So i thought i'd give my most listened horror music artist!
The Onibi series by Masa Works Design!!
They created peak music like The Spider And The Fox-Like Lion, The fox's wedding, & The demon child in the clear mirror (which is the actual song for the Kagome Kagome trend!)
It actually a full on novel and manga! I haven't read them both yet considering i havent rlly bothered to look into the lore if im being hoenst, the songs are jsut rlly catchy!

The cover is absolutely ethereal and so is the music, it's giving the same vibes as Nier Automata, Ghost and the shell with a bit of Persona music
It's very hard to truly describe it but one of the ways to put it is that "the music sounds exactly like the cover art looks"

I recommend listening to these albums:
"Dez anos depois" (1971)
"Nara" (1964)
"Obras-Primas" (1996)

Amusement Lager has to be one of my favorite bands that i've ever found, they have such a unique style with their music that makes it impossible to hate, with a wide palette for their songs, some are dependent on a math rock-y hard technical aspect, while others are simple, soft with aspects of melancholy.
they've been going at it for about a few years, posting songs and shorts consistently both on YouTube and Instagram (which is where i found them), and it's quite baffling to me how "niche"/underground they are: even with the small features and sponsors they get, i feel like they don't get as much attention as they deserve, though i do understand with how big the J-rock scene is.
anyway, here's a photo of them and i have one of their songs playing on my profile if you wanna take a listen!! :p

But was it jazz fusion? To put it simply, it is a fusion of different musical styles with jazz being the base. Jazz fusion always reminds me of the space age; if I were traveling the galaxy, this would be on the AUX.
Below is a small list of songs to space out to.
Mysterious Traveler by Weather Report
Chameleon by Herbie Hancock
Dreamflower by Tarika Blue
Summer Nights by Lonnie Liston Smith
Poxa by Cortex
Paradise Beach by Wolfgang Mader/Andy Novello

I might go and make a zine based on it, but I'm still not sure what it should be like, I have so many ideas. Maybe I'll do several, since I'm actually losing my mind.
Any of you guys got a project that makes them want to explode with the need to create stuff after listening to it ?

Disco has a fascinating history; it is a counterculture in itself. But I have made a small list of songs that more people should listen to if you have a disco-sized hole in your heart.
Ma Baker by Boney M.
I Will Survive by Gloria Gaynor
Funky Nassau by Ray Munnings
Star Love by Cheryl Lynn
Born to Boogie by Steve Watson
Disco Illusion by Stephen Encinas
Just This One Night by Deodato
Groove I Like by Veno
Hi-Jack by Herbie Mann
Gonna Get Over You by Frances Joli
Literally no one did it like HER. Have an unlikely yet meteoric rise to fame in the 50s, sing hits in a plethora of languages, be "the most interesting woman in the world" in all manners, become THE Catwoman (as a breakthrough role for black people in Hollywood and the only version I think about when I think of the character because she truly embodied that role like no one else), make hits that are still hits today ("Santa Baby" ugghhh), be an activist and get blacklisted from the U.S. for opposing the Vietnam War, have a revitalization as a camp disco icon in Europe, keep touring and releasing cult classic hits well into her older age, and do all that with THAT. MUCH. ELEGANCE. She was and is an ICON and will always have a fantastic place in my heart.
For her discography, she shifts very much over her long career.
I love so much of it, but to give you a place to start, I'd say: listen to "Santa Baby" and "I Want To Be Evil" for her all time 50's hits, "Uska Dara" and "Angelitos Negros" or "Paint Me Black Angels (Angelitos Negros)" for her range, "My Discarded Men" and "C'mon A My House" for her captivating live presence, and "I Don't Care" and "Where Is My Man" for her absolutely fab disco period. Also she is the voice and partial inspiration for Yzma from The Emperor's New Groove, so just listen to her songs on that movie.
