This is so hyper specific but something that really unsettles me is when people are laughing really loudly. Like at the end of one the Scary Movie films there’s this sequence with just complete chaos like people laughing loudly, jumping around, doing flips, etc. and it rlly made me uncomfortable.

Regardless I just wanted to rant abt this one Netflix show The Gentleman. The first episode was really good but then the series got unwatchable. The main characters are SO BORING and the story has so many plot holes. It made me so mad watching the main characters - they have no character at all and have no chemistry either. The show is just very confusing and too fast paced, there’s so many characters I don’t even remember them when they reappear. What makes me the most mad is that the main character is a Duke (former military captain) so he’s ALREADY rich and prestigious and has no reason to do what he does in the show. He’s also so emotionless literally even after he KILLS SOMEONE. UGHHHSJDJJCKF SUCH A WASTE OF TIME

Speaking of missed connections.. I’ve been distraught bc I’m not close with any of my cousins due to distance and also some family drama (also my family doesn’t try to stay connected - like we probably only see each other at weddings/funerals)
The one I live closest to is significantly younger than me and we don’t have any common interests so when we do see each other, it’s a little awkward 🥲 how do u guys connect with younger people? I also feel like I’d ask her questions and the convo would just die 😭

In an art course in college my class had a presentation by an artist that specialized in bio art (biology + art) and it was so eye opening cuz I’ve never heard of that in my life!
Basically it’s taking biological compounds like for example kelp plants and turning it into art. The different examples she showed us had very interesting textures, some were leathery some were silicony.
It’s very cool bc it sparks a lot of conversation about the environment & reduces waste.

What are your thoughts on driving?
Personally, I hate it with a burning passion 😭 but I have friends who love it bc of the independence and freedom. Which I get, but I’m always hyper aware of the fact that i could get into an accident at any moment.
I just don’t like how it feels man and it sucks cuz I live in America where it’s kinda necessary :(

I’ve always been interested in foraging, esp because of Black forager, and last year I tried some puffball mushroom. I was very anxious abt eating it cuz I never foraged before so I only ate a little, and only browned it in some butter. It was alrighttt but I saw some more puffballs in my back yard this year and decided to give them another shot!
I breaded them with some corn flake cereal and baked them.. and they were pretty good! I’m sooo proud of myself I’ve never breaded something before and knowing that it’s free food from nature felt so gratifying! I also felt more confident in eating them this time. Hopefully I’ll have the chance to forage more stuff…
Pls lmk any foraging tips or feel free to start general discussion abt it, I am so intrigued by it! (Btw I live in the U.S. so the plants around me are native to there)

When I was younger and first starting digital art I feel like I drew almost daily and it felt so magical. I didn't really care too much about improving, I just drew cuz it was fun.
