GUYS ok so i tried out for costume for the school musical and we are doing ride the cyclone(my opinion the high school version of this musical suuuucks) I MADE CALL BACKS AND I MADE IT INTO COSTUME FOR THE MUSICAL!! ৻( •̀ ᗜ •́ ৻)ʸᵃʸ!!!

forgor to post but recently me and my friend started working on a game shared amongst ourselves, (im doing all the heavy lifting, but thats ok)
im also taking this as an opportunity to practice my modeling and making textures. seems easy enough to me tbh. ive discovered its easier to bring my ideas into reality using blender, than drawing. so hopefully it'll be easy for me to model what i need to for my passion game.
im also using this project to practice my programming but ehhhh theres more of a focus on the modeling tbh

Hello small internet world. I'm fired from my job! And by the end of this week I'll be another jobless mister, doing nothing for undefined amount of time.

Omfg i just realized I have school starting up again in less then a week. I haven’t even LOOKED at my summer reading 😭 I take Latin at my school and I thought I was a good idea to take the refresher course they offer a week before school. I walked in yesterday for the first day WHY WAS I THE ONLY ONE THERE. Okay yes I’ll get one on one time and that IS a pretty good alternative but still lowkey made me feel like an idiot 😔 WISH ME LUCK

Anyone ever heard of the Karpman Drama Triangle? To put it very briefly, it's a model of interaction among three people or parties that forms a triangle, regardless of whether it's intentional or not. In this triangle, there are three roles: the Victim, the Rescuer and the Persecutor.

Victim: plays helpless and blameless, inviting others to fix their issues while refusing to take responsibility, uses the Persecutor's behavior to justify helplessness ("Poor me")

Rescuer: intervenes constantly and enables the Victim, has a desire to feel needed. This can lead to codependency while they ignore their own needs ("Let me help you")

Persecutor: criticizes, blames and controls others especially towards the Victim, may weaponize their anger or pain to have power over others ("It's all your fault")

This forms a very manipulative, unhealthy dynamic and creates emotional confusion that eventually destroys relationships if left unresolved even if it's subtle. What is also REALLY interesting is how roles can continuosly shift. For example, the Victim may suddenly switch roles with the Prosecutor and vice versa, often unconsciously. These roles can continue to shift as resentment grows.

I think it's very interesting to see how common this happens in our daily lives at varying levels of intensity.

I'm sure there are sources that can explain this even better so I recommend reading about it yourself for a deeper understanding.

so like ive been saying to the majority of my friends (online and real life) that were twins, but like around a month ago i lwky found my actual almost 90% twin it's actually so fun like yesterday for example i found out our town situations are like the same and like today i found out our names start with the same letter (what are the odds bc that nvr happens 2 me) im actually so excited to find out more abt possibly my almost accurate twin the only thing is like our personalities are lwky different lmao. has anyone else gone thru this?

The pain when one of your favorite desserts isn't sold in the country you live in and was discontinued in the country where you bought it so now it's nothing but a memory and you can't find anything similar to it so you're just left there grieving it because it was one of your favorites and you miss it so much and I'm tearing up as I write this cuz I miss my toffee/caramel bar, It's literally my soulmate and now I barely remember its taste and I cannot experience it again... It literally tastes SO good why is it not sold anywhere man I miss my pure caramel toffee bar, I wish I could eat it at least once again 😞😞😞😞

Is it just me or it all feels kinda... fake lately? Like. How can you guys be real. Take me serious. I love you guys but... People are not that kind without a motive. People are not JUST like that. It all feels fake. I don't really know anymore, all those posts, conversations, people. Like there's a factory or algorithm that is making people just like you, because it's not real for people to just say stuff and other people to like it whatever it is. I could possibly post something nonsensical and someone would like it. What the hell is going on because I don't have a clue. When I go outside, to work or just out I only see people constantly angry, or sad, or laughing at someone's else's misery. Even at night, when going to sleep, someone always yells in anger or you can hear a fight. On other platforms I could see just scum of the earth clearly grooming that guy in public twit or in some public community discords. Going in comments on a random yt video it's just bots or children and on ig? Don't even ask. Like, it's really interesting this place is kinda cut off from reality I live in, like talking to people in other universe where everyone loves everyone and you don't need to be ashamed at all times to the point you just wish world would end. I don't get it, how could you be so whimsy as kind when world is literally on verge of ending and we all could die literally tomorrow by a nuke, political extremist, fucked up climate change that made your country literal hell or just full on war

Adding on, there are so many things we take for granted. AC, GPS, the internet, roads, etc. Sometimes I look at a city and I’m in awe at how grand it is. Construction workers built that from scratch, someone programmed this website, an entire team created the media you know and love.

Just.. humanity has its dark sides.. but I think we forget how amazing we are too.

There are times when I feel anxious in the hours before something I have scheduled. In those situations I am unable to concentrate on anything. When that happens I often put some relaxing music and it calms me down sometimes, though there are other times where it doesn't work and I feel like i should be doing something more "productive" instead of listening to music while doing nothing.

Idk, none of this happens every time. It's seemingly random.

Anyone else hate cooking with oil? It's so aggressive. Water boils, but oil jumps out from the pan to attack you. It sucks.

If anyone has a miracle cooking tip for dealing with oil, please tell me. I'm an abysmal cook.

The second one is the thing with the holes. im pretty sure its a scarf. I like the fabric and look. It looks like it came out of some type of zombie apocalypse.

The tape measures are actually suspenders. Pretty cute tbh. I could use it for something else. Unsure but we'll see.

The purple bracelet is similar to another bracelet i saw that looked almost like it- just with red flowers. Honestly such a win in my book

The pants, i like the back pockets :D planning on making it short. Could use the left over scraps for a skirt.

The yellow sweater. Tbh i perked up like a dog when i saw it. I saw it as the perfect cosplay for rosemary walten from the walten files. Now all i need is the skirt.

I have recently been revising films I watched in my youth. I forgot how good Hoodwink is; yeah, the animation is bad, but it's charming.

I watched so many 'odd' films as a kid. Another series I remember watching is the 'An American Tail' films. Something about animated mice makes great films.

What would you guys want in the blogs? What would make you actually want to use the blog function? I know this is just The Lounge, but I hope brainstorming ideas in a large group like this will catch the staff's eye. This could be a good opportunity to get some features we'd actually use, so we can make the most of the features already here.

Personally, I think being able to upload multiple images to blogs would be super cool. Inline images as well! I'd love to be able to add pictures to the side of my paragraphs or little decome emotes in my text. We could use this to add cute dividers, headers, and whatnot.

If that isn't possible, just having the opportunity to change text colours would be really neat. I'm unsure how difficult it would be to add entirely custom colours, but even a default set would be nice.

I truly think the blogging function here could be so popular if it just had more stuff. Right now, posts are the most eye-catching things. For me, I'm discouraged to blog when I know I'll get more interaction on posts.

"cool websites" by i dont exist :3 kwenk.com/b/329 is the oldest post on here from August 16, and it´s a repository of websites for different things. I really liked the anti-corporate section because I think we're all a little fed up with the current state of things, and it even features a blog post from the typesetting and writing website I usually use--Ellipsus! I haven't had the time to fully check out all the websites on there yet though, but all of them seemed worth giving your time to if you're interested in what it does!
"Being queer (a-spec)" by smilez kwenk.com/b/335 is something I resonated with, being a-spec myself, and even though it's not a deep dive, I think it's worth checking out, whether you are a-spec, or just want to learn more about the kinds of experiences people have.
"Public Transport" by Wawaiibb kwenk.com/b/339 piqued my interest because, as an american, I don't have a ton of public transit around, and I think it's a conversation worth having, or a story worth understanding if you're an artist looking to add something into your worlds, or even just draw from it.
"scratches beard" by raki kwenk.com/b/363 was interesting to me because it mirrors a struggle I have as a creative between the idea and the living version of it that I end up creating

Though these were some of the more standout blogs imo, if we want blogs to get more traction, or to be more active, we need to go out there and make them and interact.
