Another long post about what's happening in France sorry, but I found this Tumblr post that explains it way better than me

I wanna audition for a new play but there are no auditions for teens, they're all either for primary school aged kids or adults or are musicals (I can't sing well enough yet). And the people I usually do plays with won't have auditions until march of next year. Why is there never any plays for teens??

I might genuinely be the most useless person on earth. I just broke down crying during a job interview T-T

Personally I absolutely loved it, and that's coming from a guy who usually hides in the face of gore (weird considering my love of the games, I know, but oh well). Bryan is an amazing and relatable little guy!

However, it felt more like a blend of Silent Hill/The Thing to me? Like the monsters were really a specific experience related to Bryan's fears (parenthood + blending in a faceless crowd) and they felt,,, well. Thing-y X')

But I loved the telltale dry humor and the (very scarce) Resident Evil references :D I'm glad it's nothing like the old movies omg

ok so I found an app where you can meet people and whatnot and I found a cool guy near me so naturally, I gave him some free art I made (love giving art and stuff 2 people) and he initially thought I was a scammer but after it was all cleared up, he liked it and him and his roomie/friends liked the post and even reposted.

on this guy's profile it says he's looking for a partner and so am I and tbh I'm pretty interested but we're both anon (faces covered in pics) and his roomie friended me on the app but he hasn't. I wanna get to know him and be friends and eventually more but after that rough/weird interaction (that DID turn out well) I don't know how to transition into casual talk (I'm also pretty awk so it's even harder)

what do you guys recommend? This is my first time crushing on an anon guy, so I really don't know what to do

I want to tell you about a very good horror webtoon I read about 2 years ago and now Im rereading it again. It's called welfare center. But I must warn you it has blood in it and it's rated mature. BUT GEN IT'S KINDA CHILL. Idk if I'm desensitized or whateva but for me it wasn't that drastic. Anyway if you checked it out lemme know what you thinkଘ(੭*ˊᵕˋ)੭* ੈ♡‧₊˚

Sorry that's gonna be a vent post I suppose, but i really want to complain about what's happening in France right now.
High-schoolers and uni students are protesting all around France, because the budget spent on school is too low. Classes are overcrowded, the ceiling falls apart, rats in the schools and bugs in their food. Asbestos in their walls, not enough teachers anywhere (they are currently trying to or have already removed 1588 teacher jobs btw), and not enough money in student supporting stuff, meritocratic apps that are in fact racist and class people based on their schools and their location. And uni students are also protesting against the "Welcome to France" act, which makes foreign students pay 3x more than french students for uni which is racist and makes students from more precarious situations unable to afford studies.
All the protestors are completely in their rights to do so. The police on the other hand is currently breaking all the laws they want, without any consequences. the ministry of the interior even said that there was no command that prevented the police to use any equipment they want to "fight" (it is a one sided and unequal fight) against the protestors.
A boy lost an eye, then another got his lower jaw smashed, a girl got strangled, another guy got waterboarded and a 15yo just lost his hand yesterday morning... All of this is the police's doing. Oh and, as if they didnt show they had no heart enough, they used tear gas on fucking pre schoolers. Tear gas itself is illegal to use agaisnt minors and has been since 90+ years.
All my support to the protestors.

TL;DR: Students in France are protesting against the government for bad learning conditions and in response they send the police, who is becoming more and more violent and never faces any consequences. All my support to the protestors.

whenever i tell people i don't have a phone "Oh your so lucky" no I'm not, you don't understand how i feel every single day especially when the person that won't give you the phone keeps on talking about it,legit PLAYING in your face. " I want to give it to you but i can't " "whenever i see a kid with a phone i think of you" " if you had a phone you'd be addicted " it fucking sucks and im 16 years old btw about to turn 17, in 4 months i literally cannot do anything i look for college/other resources "you need a phone number" a program I'm in i needed a phone to scan a qr code and I couldn't do it and i had to embarrass myself in front of the whole class and then you needed a phone number afterwards "what about those temporary numbers you can get"that doesn't work for me bc I don't have a normal device, I get scared telling people i don't have a phone literally when i people they made fun of me I can't do this anymore, i want to get a bunerphone but i can't get it online bc my mom sees everything i buy on my card, and i can't fet it irl bc i live in the middle of buttfuck nowhere and i can't go outside bc my mom hates me
